Several Arizona City roads to receive chip seal work

Road crews plan to chip-seal several Arizona City roads next week. The work is expected to go from May 20 to 24.

Southwest Slurry Seal crews, contracted by Pinal County, will coat roads with a protective rock and an emulsion seal meant to make for safer, smoother driving. The project includes 34,478 square yards of material, which includes 6.53 tons of emulsion and 44.25 tons of aggregate rock. 

Areas to be chip-sealed include:

* Coral Road beginning at Sasabe Drive and ending at San Lazaro Drive.

* Glen Circle beginning at the Cul-de-Sac and ending at San Lazaro Drive.

Ken Circle beginning at the Cul-de-Sac and ending at Ken Drive.

Ken Drive beginning at Sasabe Drive and ending at Coral Road.

Lanai Circle beginning at San Lazaro Road and ending at the cul-de-sac.

* Lanai Road beginning at Sasabe Drive and ending at San Lazaro Road.

* Maui Circle beginning at the Cul-de-Sac and ending at San Lazaro Drive.

* Maui Circle beginning at San Lazaro Drive and ending at the cul-de-dac.

* San Lazaro Drive beginning at Placer Road and ending at Sunland Gin Road.

* Sasabe Drive beginning at the Cul-de-Sac and ending at Coral Road.
