Marana Unified School District's Thornydale Elementary School will use a corporate grant to give its playground a boost.

The school received a $5,000 2013-2014 Lowe's Toolbox for Education grant in January. Thornydale will use the grant to purchase playground equipment, as well as to bolster other school improvement projects.
