Marana Unified School District's Tortolita Middle School is throwing a party to celebrate its 30th anniversary.

The free event will be at the school, 4101 W. Hardy Road, at 9:20 a.m. April 6. A documentary about the school's history will play, guest speakers will talk and there will be musical performances and an exhibition sporting event with the school's current athletes.
