Tucson Clean & Beautiful, a nonprofit dedicated toward keeping the area green, is hosting an electronics recycling event.

The free event goes from 8 a.m. to noon April 27 at Casas Church, 10801 N. La Cholla Blvd. in Oro Valley.

Those looking to discard old computers, TVs or other devices can do so in a manner that won't harm the environment at the event, courtesy of Westech Recyclers. Any working or non-working household electronic device will be accepted. Larger appliances, such as refrigerators and air conditioners, are not eligible. Printer cartridges will be recycled through Cartridge World Tucson, and cell phones will go to Emerge! Center Against Domestic Abuse. Those from the first 100 households to bring in an item for recycling will get a $5 gift card.
