Reaching out to the northwest side to procure docents, the Tucson Museum of Art Docent Council is holding an informational meeting in SaddleBrooke at 10 a.m. Aug. 28.

Organizers are keeping the meeting's location private, asking that interested parties reserve a spot and discover the location at 825-0830.

The group is looking for volunteers to lead gallery tours, share art experiences with students, Alzheimer's patients and speak to civic and social groups.

There will be another docent recruitment session at 10 a.m. Sept. 12 at the Tucson Museum of Art, 140 N. Main Street.
