"Patrons at Sambo's Restaurant, 902 E. Broadway, were amazed then dismayed this morning as a nude young man first walked through the establishment and then crashed back in through a window," wrote a Tucson Citizen reporter on Feb. 20, 1973. There are no better words to describe the incident. The 22-year-old man, covered in blood, then scuffled with Tucson Police officers before being handcuffed. The man "mumbled that he was 'doing Jesus' business.'"
