Tucson police have made an arrest in a 2010 homicide.

Gunnar Quick, 37, was arrested Wednesday night for his suspected involvement in the Aug. 27, 2010 shooting death of Darwin M. Wells, 36. Wells was shot and killed in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 6500 block of East Golf Links Road.

“At the time, very little information was known regarding the suspect and/or motive for the crime,” Sgt. Maria Hawke, spokeswoman for the Tucson Police Department, said in a news release. “However, in late 2012, new information came to light. Pursuing the new leads, detectives were able to determine the identity of the suspect involved in the incident.”

Quick was booked into the Pima County jail and is facing a charge of first degree murder.
