Two men were killed and a third was wounded Friday night during a brawl outside a house party on Tucson’s southeast side, police said.

The shooting happened about 11:45 p.m. outside a house in the 7900 block of East Senate Street, near South Pantano and East Golf Links roads, Sgt. Chris Widmer said in a Police Department news release.

Officers arrived to find a dead man in the street. Another man was mortally wounded and died later at a hospital. A third man had been taken by private car to the hospital with serious injuries.

Detectives estimate that 50 people were at the party when there was a fight and ultimately gunfire outside, the release said.

More than half the people at the party left before officers arrived.

Detectives have interviewed about 20 people but want to talk to more witnesses. Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME, the anonymous tipster line.
