A husband and wife were found dead in a Casa Grande home in a murder-suicide Sunday afternoon, according to a news release from the Pinal County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies responded to a shots fired call shortly before 4 p.m. in the 10000 block of North Baltimore Drive in Casa Grande and found a 45-year-old man and 46-year-old woman with gunshot wounds, Tim Gaffney, a spokesman for the Pinal County Sheriff's Office said in a news release.

The couple were pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives determined the man shot his wife and then shot himself, the release said. They have not determined a motive for the shooting.

The names of the man and woman are being withheld pending next of kin notification.
