Pima County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a possible murder-suicide in Green Valley that happened Saturday evening.

Deputies responded to the 300 block of North Cape Royal Drive, west of Interstate 19, shortly before 6 p.m. to investigate an unknown problem, Chief Deputy Chris Nanos said in a news release.

When deputies arrived they found a man and woman dead, the release said.

Both had obvious signs of trauma.

Detectives believe the man killed his wife and then committed suicide, the release said.

The names of the man and woman are being withheld until next of kin are notified.

Anyone with information about the Green Valley incident is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME (882-7463).
