Sheriff’s investigators are looking for an armed robber who held up a convenience store last month.

At about 2:15 a.m. Sept. 23, a man in his mid-20s walked into the 7-Eleven at 4661 E. Skyline Drive near North Swan Road, pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded money, Deputy Tracy Suitt, spokesman for the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, said in a news release.

The clerk gave the man cash and cigarettes, and he left.

The robber is described as being about 6 feet tall with a thin beard and mustache and tattoos on his arms.

Anyone with information about the robber is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.

In an unrelated case, investigators also are looking for a man who burglarized a steakhouse the next night.

Deputies responding to an alarm at the Settlement Smokehouse, 5400 S. Old Spanish Trail near East Saguaro Crest Place, found the front door to the restaurant had been forced open.

No money was taken in the Sept. 24 break-in, but offices had been searched, Suitt said.
