A brush fire on the far east side destroyed a trailer and burned several trees Sunday evening.

Several people called 911 to report seeing flames coming from an area near East Valencia Road and South Old Spanish Trail, near the Pantano Wash around 8 p.m., said Capt. Barrett Baker, a Tucson Fire Department spokesman.

When crews arrived they found a trailer used as office space for a cement company engulfed in flames and several trees and brush on fire.

The fire was contained within 35 minutes. Tucson fire responded to a similar fire in the area a few months ago, Baker said.
