Gadabout and VerVe salons will raise money for the families of the fallen Granite Mountain Hotshots from Aug. 1-3.

The salons are hosting spirit days, and staff will dress up in different themes each day and donate money to a relief fund for the firefighter's families. Gadabout will also donate money to the fund.

Donation boxes for community members and clients to donate will also be set up at the front desk at each salon.

Marana resident Roxy Warneke, the widow of hotshot Billy Warneke, is a client of one of the salons which inspired the businesses to raise money for all the families affected by the fire.

"When tragedy takes place in our community, it is our responsibility to support the families and ultimately the woman and children impacted," Jana Westerbeke, president of Gadabout SalonSpas said in a news release.
