The driver of a hit-and-run crash on the city's north side Tuesday afternoon was found and arrested for a DUI, a police spokesman said.

The crash occurred on North Stone Avenue at Kelso Street, and closed the area to traffic for more than an hour, said Sgt. Pete Dugan of the Tucson Police Department.

Persons sustained minor injuries in the two-vehicle crash, Dugan said.

The driver was walking away from the crash as police arrived. He was stopped and held in custody, and then arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence, said Dugan.

No further information was immediately available.
