The investigation is ongoing into the Wednesday night car wreck that injured six teenagers.

Traffic detectives do not plan to release any information unless charges are filed or the medical condition of any of the teens changes drastically, said Deputy Courtney Rodriguez, spokeswoman for the Pima County Sheriff's Department.

The six were injured in a single-car rollover crash east of Tucson.

Alcohol or drugs are believed to have been a factor in the wreck that occurred about 10:50 p.m. in the 13000 block of East Success Drive, where officials say the driver lost control and the car slid off the road. The road is near Interstate 10 and East Colossal Cave Road.

The teens had had been at a high school graduation ceremony in the Vail school district earlier in the evening, according to a Sheriff’s Department news release.

The most critically injured teen was airlifted to University of Arizona Medical Center. The others — who had injuries listed as minor to serious — were taken to the hospital by ambulance.
