A 43-year-old Mexican national was arrested Tuesday after officials said she attempted to smuggle marijuana through the Port of Douglas.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers and a drug dog found nearly 412 pounds of marijuana, worth nearly $206,000, in an Isuzu SUV they were inspecting, according to a CBP news release.

The drugs and vehicle were seized. The driver, Luz Imena Madrid-Antolin, was referred to Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations, the release said..
