A 32-year-old man was killed Wednesday night when he fell out of the bed of a pickup truck on Interstate 10.

The truck was westbound just north of Picacho Peak about 7:30 p.m. when the man fell and was struck by several vehicles, Officer Raul Garcia, spokesman for the Arizona Department of Public Safety, said in an email.

Soon after the man fell out of the truck, the vehicle was found parked near the Interstate 8 and I-10 junction.

Officers  search ed the area and found the driver, who was taken into custody.

The investigation is ongoing.
