Man shot and killed in Tucson park

The body of Tucsonan Niles Ceasar, 50, was found in a midtown park Tuesday night.

Police responded to a 911 call about a shooting at 9:35 p.m. and found Ceasar on the south side of Mansfield Park, in the 2000 North Fourth Avenue southeast of East Grant Road and North Sixth Avenue. He was dead when police arrived, said Sgt. Chris Widmer, spokesman for the Tucson Police Department.

The investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information about the shooting should call 911 or 88-CRIME.
