A Tucson woman was found dead in Mesquite, Texas, on top of a double-stack rail car, and police are investigating the case as a suspicious death.

On March 17, Bethany Ann Walker’s body was found on top of the rail car with obvious signs of trauma, but the cause of death is still unknown, said Sgt. Pete Dugan, a Tucson Police Department spokesman.

Detectives with the Mesquite Police Department are investigating the case. Mesquite is an eastern suburb of Dallas.

Dugan said Walker, 25, was last seen in Tucson on March 15 at about 1 p.m. at a motel in the 1200 block of South Freeway.

She was described as white, about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 140 pounds. She had brown hair and hazel eyes. Walker was last seen wearing blue jeans and a white long-sleeved sweat shirt.

Anyone who may have seen Walker on or about March 15 can call 911 or 88-CRIME.
