Motorcyclist killed in Tucson midtown crash

A motorcyclist was killed Monday night in a crash in midtown.

East Speedway at North Beverly Avenue is expected to be shut down until about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to a Tucson Police Department Facebook post.

At about 8:30 p.m., police responded to a crash involving a car and motorcycle.

The man riding the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two people in the car were not injured.

No further information was immediately available.
