One of two drivers killed in a fiery crash Monday has been identified by the Pima County Office of the Medical Examiner.

Justin Boyle, 25, was the driver and only occupant of a Volkswagen traveling eastbound on Interstate 10 at about 3:40 Monday morning when a westbound tractor-trailer rig crossed the median near Kolb Road and began to roll over.

The two vehicles collided and the Volkswagen burst into flames, according to an earlier report from the Arizona Department of Public Safety. The fire spread to the truck. It took about two hours to extinguish the blaze.

The drivers of both vehicles died at the scene.

The driver of the tractor-trailer has not yet been identified, Pima County Medical Examiner Dr. Greg Hess said.
