The Oro Valley Police Department is asking the public for help in identifying a man linked to a shoplifting incident.

On April 12, a man was captured on a surveillance camera inside GNC at 2060 E. Tangerine Road, near East Innovation Park Drive, said Lt. Kara Riley, a police department spokeswoman.

The man is linked to the theft of several containers of weightlifting supplements. The supplements taken had an estimated total value of about $900, Riley said.

Riley said the man is in his mid-20s. He has a medium build and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a Detroit Tigers baseball cap and a blue, plaid button-up shirt.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911, 88-CRIME or Oro Valley police at 229-4900.
