Tucson police have released the name of a 65-year-old woman found dead in her west-side home.

The body of Linda Daley was found Thursday in her home in the 1800 block of West Pueblo Vista Boulevard, just north of “A” Mountain.

A neighbor checking on her at about 11:45 a.m. found Daley lying in a pool of blood inside the home, said Sgt. Chris Widmer, spokesman for the Tucson Police Department.

She had “obvious signs of trauma,” he said.

Two injured dogs were also found inside the home, Widmer said.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
