Tucson police and Pima County sheriff’s investigators are looking for a man they suspect is a serial robber.

Last Friday afternoon a man entered the Shell Gas Station at 4301 E. Broadway Blvd. at South Columbus Boulevard, pulled a handgun from under his jacket and demanded money in both English and Spanish. The armed robber left with an undisclosed sum, Sgt. Maria Hawke, spokeswoman for the Tucson Police Department, said in a news release.

The robber was described as in his early 20s, about 5-feet-8 to 5-feet-9-inches tall, with a thin build. He as wearing a black jacket, dark-color jeans or pants and sunglasses.

The description is similar to one for a man wanted by the Pima County Sheriff’s Department for the robbery of a yogurt shop and a convenience store Sunday night, Hawke said.

Anyone with information about the suspect should call 911 or 88-CRIME.
