A 17-year-old driver was killed in a single-vehicle roll over in Corona de Tucson Saturday evening. 

Devlen Crown, was driving northbound in the 17900 block of South Houghton Road, south of Sahuarita Road, at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the car causing it to roll over, Deputy Tracy Suitt, a Pima County Sheriff's Department spokesman said in a news release. 

An 18-year-old passenger was taken to a trauma center with injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening. 

Neither teen was wearing a seat belt, the release said.
