Police arrested a 28-year-old Tucson man, Earl Bogedain, on suspicion of 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, they said in a news release Thursday night.

Here is the Tucson Police Department news release:

"In March of 2014, the Tucson Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Unit developed information that a person in the Tucson area was downloading and sharing child pornography on the internet. The investigation led detectives to a residence in the 3300 block of East Presidio Road. On April 3, 2014, a search warrant was served at the residence with the assistance of U.S. Marshals.

"During the service of the search warrant, detectives located evidence that implicated 28-year old Earl Bogedain, as the suspect involved in the downloading and sharing of child pornography. Mr. Bogedain was booked into the Pima County Jail on 10 counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor.

"The Tucson Police Department urges parents to continually monitor all of their children’s Social Media Accounts to include Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, or any others they may utilize. Knowing and monitoring your child’s online friends, connections and conversations is crucial for their safety."
