A 52-year-old man was arrested Thursday for possession of child pornography.

Anthony Dimatteo is facing 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, said Sgt. Chris Widmer, a Tucson Police Department spokesman.

He was booked into the Pima County jail.

In February, Microsoft contacted the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about a user storing child pornography to their servers, said Widmer.

It was determined that the user lived in the Tucson-area, Widmer said.

Detectives from the Internet Crimes Against Children’s Unit began an investigation and found out that the user lived in the 4900 block of East Butterweed Drive, said Widmer.

The neighborhood is south of East Valencia Road and east of South Swan Road.

Detectives, with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Service, served a warrant at the house and found evidence that Dimatteo was in possession of child pornography, Widmer said.
