Tucson police arrested a man Tuesday night in connection with the robbery of the US Bank in the 7600 block of East Broadway.

Vincent Mark Cesare, 52, is facing two counts of armed robbery, five counts of aggravated assault and five counts of kidnapping.

He was identified through tips to 88-CRIME, Tucson police said in a news release.

On Friday, police said a man entered the bank shortly after 2 p.m. The man pointed a gun at customers and bank employees and forced them to the ground. He demanded money from a bank employee and left with an unknown amount of cash, police said.

Cesare has been booked into the Pima County jail.
