Tucson police were investigating a homicide at a midtown apartment complex Monday afternoon.

Police received a 911 call at 2:39 p.m. after management of the Summit Ridge Apartments, 1252 S. Craycroft Road, found a man dead inside an apartment, said Sgt. Chris Widmer, a Tucson Police Department spokesman.

The dead man had suffered trauma and homicide detectives were called in to investigate, Widmer said.
