Tucson police are looking for an 18-year-old man in connection with the armed robbery of a smoke shop earlier this month.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Adrian Pride. Police suspect he robbed the Maui Smoke Shop, 1099 E. Broadway, between South Park and Highland avenues, on Nov. 12.

During the afternoon robbery, a man pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money, according to a Tucson Police Department news release. The clerk refused to comply, and the robber fled.

Several hours later, the robber returned and again threatened the clerk before running away.

“The clerk chased after the suspect, who got into a vehicle and fired several shots at the clerk as he left the area. No one was injured during the incident,” the news release stated.

The suspect was described as 18 to 23 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing between 140 and 160 pounds. He was wearing a navy blue “Rolling Stones” shirt with a tongue on it, navy blue basketball shorts, blue and black tennis shoes, black sunglasses and a gray hooded sweat shirt. The vehicle he was driving was described as a white newer-model four-door passenger car.

Anyone with information Pride’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
