A man was shot on the city's north side Thursday night, and suffered life-threatening injuries.

The man was shot in the 800 block of East Prince Road, near North First Avenue, said Sgt. Pete Dugan, a Tucson Police Department spokesman.

The shooting was reported at 7:36 p.m.

Tucson Fire Department paramedics treated the man before he was taken to a hospital. 

No one was in custody.

No further information was immediately available.

Anyone who has information about the shooting is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
