A 35-year-old woman, who police suspect was stabbed by her husband at an east-side home Saturday evening has died. 

Police were called to the home in the 500 block of North Evelyn Avenue, near North Camino Seco and East Broadway, around 6:15 p.m. Saturday and found Marcela Julie Ann Slatin, with stab wounds, Sgt. Maria Hawke, a Tucson police spokeswoman said in a news release. 

The woman's husband was also inside the home and three of their children were outside the house in a vehicle, the release said. 

Slatin was taken to the hospital where she died. 

Detectives determined the couple was involved in a physical altercation inside the house. 

The husband, Art Slatin, was arrested on suspicion of second degree murder and was booked into the Pima County Jail, the release said.
