A woman found dead in a south side home last week killed herself, police determined.

Because 50-year-old Carol Straub “suffered trauma,” investigators considered her death undetermined until autopsy results were released.

Straub was found at about 11:30 p.m. April 23 at a home in the 1300 block of East 28th Street between South Park Avenue and South Kino Parkway.

Her boyfriend arrived at the home to find her dead, and he called 911, said Sgt. Chris Widmer, a spokesman for the Tucson Police Department.
