Two people were found dead in a midtown mobile home Wednesday morning.

A man was found with gunshot wounds lying in the doorway of a trailer in the 4500 block of East Fairmount Street by a person walking in the area, said Officer Brandon Tatum, a Tucson police spokesman.

The passerby called 911 around 7:15 a.m. and when police arrived they pronounced the man dead and also found a woman dead in the trailer with gunshot wounds, Tatum said.

A child who is approximately 1-year-old was also found in the home but was unharmed.

The man and woman are in their early 20s, Tatum said.

Their relationship to the child is unknown.

No other information was immediately available.
