A woman found dead in a desert area south of the Foothills Mall last week has been identified as Linda Sue Grow, 49, according to authorities.

A passer-by found Grow’s body April 10 in the 2200 block of West Ina Road.

The body appeared to have been “in the elements for an extended period of time,” a Pima County sheriff’s official said last week.

The investigation is ongoing.
