A woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning on the city's southeast side, authorities said.

Mary Frances Guendelsberger, 83, was pronounced dead at the scene of the 8:45 a.m. crash at South Freeman Road at South Old Spanish Trail, said Deputy Tracy Suitt, a Pima County Sheriff's Department spokesman.

The neighborhood is north of East Drexel Road and west of South Old Spanish Trail.

A bicyclist, who stopped to assist, reported the crash, Suitt said.

Investigators said Guendelsberger was traveling on Old Spanish Trail and collided with another vehicle that failed to yield at the stop sign on Freeman Road, said Suitt.
