The four Republican candidates in Arizona's Congressional District 1 will debate in the Tucson area this week.
The SaddleBrooke Republican Club debate is planned for 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, at the Mountain View Club, 38759 S Mountain View Blvd. in SaddleBrooke. Doors open at 3:35 p.m.
Let us know in the comments what you'd like to hear from the candidates that would help you decide who to vote for in the primary.
This debate has us wondering which Tucson-area Republicans are backing which candidates. Let's take a look.
Andy Tobin's financial reports shows he's won the support of major donors Jim and Vicki Click plus 13 Click company managers. Click is chairing Tobin's campaign finance committee. (Item of interest: The Clicks backed Adam Kwasman's run for State House in 2012.)
Tobin also has donations from insurance executive Cody Ritchie, auto dealer Thomas Quebedeaux and developer David Mehl.
Adam Kwasman's supporters include NextMed CEO Christopher Gleason and family, Innovative Senior Living CEO Klaus Axen and investor Neil Kleinman, according to his financial reports.
It's too early to tell for the other candidates. Gary Kiehne's financial reports don't list any donors from the Tucson area yet, and newcomer Jim Brown hasn't yet submitted financial reports yet.
