The Daily Courier in Prescott has posted a story this morning about a Republican gubernatorial debate held last Friday.

A total of five Republicans — Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett, former GoDaddy executive Christine Jones, state Senator Al Melvin, Chief Executive Officer for Phoenix Indian Medical Center John Molina and Mesa Mayor Scott Smith — each touted their experience during the debate.

Several other candidates running in the crowded GOP field, including current State Treasurer Doug Ducey, did not attend the forum held at the Yavapai College Performing Arts Center in Prescott, the newspaper reported.
