Traffic will be restricted in the Five Points area, south of downtown, this evening as work crews crack-seal an intersection in the neighborhood.

Crews will perform the work at South Sixth Avenue and East 18th Street from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday morning, according to a City of Tucson news release.

Motorists can expect delays in the area due to lane restrictions, but access to homes and businesses will be maintained.

Crews will also crack-seal the intersection of East Grant and North Craycroft roads on Thursday.

That work will also take place from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Friday morning.

Traffic will be restricted in the area during that time.

The crack seal program is associated with the voter-approved $100 million, five-year road recovery bond program.
