Crews working for the city of Tucson's Department of Transportation will briefly close a number of roads along Houghton Road next week, as part of Regional Transportation Authority construction project.

On Monday (Aug. 5) night, crews will shift traffic to the newly paved west side portion of Houghton Road between Poorman Road and Irvington Road.

Crews will also connect the side streets on the east side of Houghton Road to the newly paved portion of Houghton Road.

Drexel Road will remain closed for several hours on Monday and Forrest Glenn Street will remain closed until late Tuesday afternoon.

Civano Road, however, will remain closed for approximately two months to allow crews to install large drainage pipes and trenches.
