Motorists on the southeast side should expect delays today on East Irvington Road near Davis-Monthan Air Force Base.

Road crews have begun a chip-seal project on Irvington between South Pantano and South Kolb roads, according to a City of Tucson news release.

One lane of travel will be open in each direction while crews work on the project.

Crews will work until 1 p.m.

The project should be completed on Wednesday.
