Work crews will reduce St. Mary's Road between the westbound Interstate 10 frontage road and North Church Avenue to one lane in each direction Monday in order to finish street lighting work and landscape installation.

The work will not restrict left turns at North Granada Avenue and St. Mary's or access to Davis Bilingual Elementary Magnet School, which is near the intersection.

Crews expect to complete the work at the end of the month.

The final layer of pavement also is scheduled to be placed at the end of this month and the final roadway striping will be installed in late April, after the asphalt has had time to cure.

The work is part of a $7.3 million project paid for by the Regional Transportation Authority.
