On Monday, June 24 and Tuesday, June 25, crews will mill the ramp at Exit 316, which has been closed since June 5. As part of this work, as many as 15 truckloads of asphalt millings will be delivered to a Cochise County maintenance yard on Dragoon Road on Monday and Tuesday, and on Friday, June 28.
On Wednesday, June 26 and Thursday, June 27 crews will pave the right lane and exit ramp of westbound I-10 behind the temporary construction barrier that has been in place since the start of work on the ramp.
On Friday, June 28, the entrance ramp from Dragoon Road onto westbound I-10 will be closed for paving from 4 a.m. until 5 p.m.
On Monday, July 1 both the exit and entrance ramps at Dragoon Road will reopen and the lane closure on westbound I-10 will move to the left lane, which will remain closed through Aug. 2.
The project will improve driving conditions for motorists using the Dragoon Road exit, which is located in Cochise County between Benson and Willcox.
