Sebastien De La Cruz, a San Antonio 11-year-old who sang the national anthem before the start of the Tuesday night NBA finals game was immediately targeted by racist tweets.

A rally of support soon followed on social media.

The nastiness started soon after his performance before the the hometown Spurs beat the Miami Heat, San Antonio News-Express reports.

Some supporters went on the boy's Facebook page to offer support. Sabastien appeared on television's "America's Got Talent" last year.
