A website that fills out its NCAA bracket based on each team's Academic Progress Rate says Arizona's first game opponent, Belmont, will be the national champion.

For the past two years, InsideHigherEd.com's top picks actually made it to the championship game, though they lost.

Belmont is so excited about its predicted championship, that the school issued a press release in which president Bob Fisher brags on this team.

Belmont must be congratulated on its academic success rate. However, one must assume that the Arizona Wildcats, along with such institutions as Harvard, Notre Dame, Mississippi and others plan to keep InsideHigherEd's bracket success limited to a two-year streak, at least as far as NCAA basketball is concerned.
