Tucson's newest McDonald’s is hosting an grand opening celebration on Saturday. The restaurant is at 1059 E. Tucson Marketplace Blvd., near South Park Avenue and I-10.

The first 100 customers at 12:01 a.m. Saturday will receive a free Big Mac for a year. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., entertainment will include a performance by Pueblo High School’s Mariachi Aztlán and Folklorico Dancers and a magic show by Ronald McDonald. At 1 p.m., the first 100 customers who purchase an Extra Value Meal will receive a free Egg McMuffin for a year.

Among other new design features, the restaurant has a flat-screen TV, new payment options at the register and free Wi-Fi. It is owned by franchisee Eric Godlove, who now operates three McDonald’s restaurants in the south Tucson area.
