The Casa Maria soup kitchen, which serves free meals to folks in the Tucson community, will get a helping hand of its own this week.

The Casa Maria Thanksgiving Benefit Concert will be hosted on Tuesday, Nov. 14 at the downtown Club Congress.

The George Howard Band will perform, along with Rich Hopkins, the Luminarios and Cesar Aguirre.

All proceeds from the concert go to the Catholic charity Casa Maria, which has been providing food and clothing to the Tucson community for decades.

When: Tuesday, Nov. 14. Doors at 7 p.m., concert starts at 7:30 p.m.

Where: Club Congress, 311 Congress Street 

Cost: Bring cans of food or $5 suggested donation
