About 100 Pima Community College students rallied outside the college's headquarters Wednesday, joining calls from other groups for most of PCC's Governing Board to resign.

The students plan to present the board with a petition with more than 500 signatures calling for the resignations of Brenda Even, Scott Stewart, Marty Cortez and David Longoria.

Organizers had hoped to draw as many as 1,000 marchers, but said the lower turnout was likely due to the event being held when final exams are in progress.

The four board members were faulted in a recent investigation that led to PCC being put on probation by its accreditor, the Chicago-based Higher Learning Commission.
