Sarah Palin has confirmed she purchased a $1.7 million property in Scottsdale, The New York Times is reporting.

The Times describes it as "an expansive six-bedroom home" with a six-car garage, a large swimming pool and 4.4 acres.

The Palins bought the Scottsdale home on May 13 through a limited liability company called Safari Investments LLC, which was set up the day before to shield the transaction from the public, the newspaper reports.
