Late-evening thunderstorms Tuesday brought a lightning show and caused minor street flooding in parts of the Tucson metro area.

Pima County rain gauges showed the storms dropped between 0.25 of an inch and nearly 0.80 of an inch of rain in areas from Tucson's midtown to the Foothills and far east side.

Tucson firefighters responded to several rescue calls during the storms, but no major incidents were reported.

Late evening thunderstorms are again possible tonight.

The chance of rain remains in Tucson's forecast for the rest of the week, according to the National Weather Service.
